Navigating a high-performance career with ADHD brings unique challenges
If any of the following resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
You are recognised for your talent, earning promotion and increased responsibility.
But you carry the mental load home and can’t switch off at night
Day-to-day tasks like inbox management drain the life out of you & take up too much time.
Yet somehow you still can’t keep on top of them.
You get tons of positive feedback, but negative feedback weighs heavily on you.
Sometimes you wonder if you’re cut out for the work at all.
There are projects at work that you genuinely love, and doing them gives you a sense of purpose.
But the energy you need to start or complete them is already drained.
None of this is a personal failing. There is a mismatch between your brain and the system you’re operating in.
Read on to see how ADHD coaching closes the gap→
My promises to you as a Coach:
I will not add to your mental load with tools, rigid advice and expectations that exceed your current capacity.
I will collaborate with you to identify your goals and document the real blockers to you not only coping, but thriving in your career.
Together we will unpack the experiences you’ve had relating to productivity, communication and prioritisation to understand where these systems are failing you.
We will introduce capacity-based commitment management, and shift to planning ahead for your energy peaks and troughs
We will incorporate key operational pillars that matter to you and your organisation - e.g. clarifying project ambiguity, setting upward boundaries and handling communication and feedback.
We will explore the emotional impact of professional challenge without judgement, and keep the focus on practical next steps that help you to recover from these experiences.
I will encourage you to set and reach professional goals that are stretching and suitable for your strengths and your brain.

Traditional coaching often assumes your "operating system" is neurotypical, which can leave ADHDers feeling like something is missing. My ADHD coaching approach is individualised, it doesn't assume you will experience ADHD like any other person I meet, but will allow you to explore how common ADHD patterns and challenges impact you. We will work through bespoke tools that have been built to deepen a person's understanding of their ADHD and focus on implementing systems that work with your brain's unique wiring, particularly in how you process information and relate to others. My coaching does also blend aspects of executive coaching into the work. As an experienced coach in the tech industry, I am aware of what it takes to operate at senior levels and will be encouraging you to pursue your career goals with intention and a deeper understanding of the system you are operating within.

Having initially trained as a therapist, I hold the boundary between the coaching and therapeutic professions tightly in the work I do. My type of ADHD coaching will orient towards forward action and will encourage you to identify action from exploration into emotion or experience, without shying away from digging into these aspects which make up your ADHD lens. We will not dive as deeply into emotion or experience as you would in therapy, and focus instead on the action steps that will help you grow.

Think of it as an hour with a strategic partner with experience in the industry, who will help you look at your world through an ADHD lens. We look at where you are with your goals around career and how you operate in your daily life, and work to build a deeper understanding of your unique brain and its needs. This includes putting language on specific challenges and ways of operating, then using that understanding to create and implement systems that actually support your brain. We will use evidence-based tools to identify opportunities for systems that may serve you, and I will work with you to set realistic weekly goals for any change that needs to be made, holding you accountable without judgement.

Because this work is best done over a fixed period of 3 months, invoices are issued for the entire package before the engagement begins.
Payment can be done upfront or in monthly installments.
You will sign a contract which includes both coach and coachee commitments, and a cancellation policy in the event that the coaching needs to stop for any reason.
I also offer a number of spots at a sliding scale if you are in career transition or financial difficulty.

The main two routes for financial support for these packages are through Government backed programmes or employer funding.
Government programmes like Work and Access in Ireland or Access to Work in the UK can take 6 months+ for approval, so I’d advise you to start this process early if you want to part-cover coaching using this funding.
Large organisations often have a stipend for personal development - many of my clients get up to 60% of their fees coverd by their organisation.
As an ICF accredited coach, I am happy to issue invoices and receipts for this work under the category of Professional or Leadership coaching if you have not diclosed your ADHD diagnosis at work.

No - if you suspect that you have ADHD and identify with the main challenges impacting professionals with ADHD, we can still work together.

Medication can be a powerful tool for managing the "biological" side of ADHD, but it doesn't teach you how to navigate the challenges of a high-pressure environment. Coaching helps you take full ownership of how ADHD impacts your specific role, helping you build foundations that medication alone can't provide. Coaching compliments both the medical and holistic ADHD support models that are out there, and I work with many individuals who are treating their ADHD with medication and many without.

Like psychotherapy and psychology, ADHD coaching is not a regulated profession in the majority of countries.
Training in ICF-Accredited ADHD Coaching through companies like ADDCA or GoldMind academy equips coaches with the skills to coach adults and children with ADHD.
Ongoing continuous development and supervision with a neuroinclusive supervisor is also critical to ensure coaches are able to support and identify the differences in coaching adults with ADHD.

Traditional productivity tools assume a brain driven by consistent internal task motivation. This coaching avoids imposing rigid, pre-packaged systems. The focus is on analysing personal cognitive workflows, developing low-friction external supports, and creating sustainable recovery protocols for when systems are inevitably disrupted.
-
No. As an ADHD Coach I always maintain strict professional boundaries and do not offer clinical diagnoses. While coaching helps individuals articulate their environmental needs and negotiate practical workflows with managers, formal medical evaluations and statutory documentation must be handled by licensed healthcare professionals.
